- Onboarding call with Sara
- Familiarizing myself with your industry/you
- Initial setup of QBO Chart of Accounts, Items, Invoices, etc
- Training on how to do basic functions specific to your business
- Integration of bank feeds
- Final monthly membership price TBD after initial onboarding call
Nuts & Bolts/Honeycomb:
- Rolling start dates as soon as July 1. (Join anytime).
- Memberships auto-paid on the first of every month, with first month pro-rated based on purchase date.
- Credit card must be on file and set up to auto-pay.
- Onboarding meeting will be scheduled as part of your Membership signup and billed separately at the hourly fee.
- If you decide to cancel for any reason, you’ll get a complete copy of your company file or a billing transfer within one week. Your payment for the full month of your cancellation is non-refundable (If you cancel on June 4, you will not get a pro-rated refund for the remainder of June).
Who is Sara?
I am a bookkeeper, but like you, I am also many other things. I have a BA in Anthropology and an MS in Environmental Archaeology. I’ve run a deep ecology retreat center. I’ve cooked seasonal, delicious, deeply nourishing feasts for many people. I cooked on a 3 masted schooner on a woodstove off the coast of Maine. I’m an herbalist, functional nutrition practitioner, chef, gardener and a bookkeeper. I’m deeply enmeshed in my own healing journey, and an ever-fascinated student of the human body.
My bookkeeping experience stretches back to 2006. In 2014, I got my first official “Accounting” job at Ecolibrium Solar. I started as a data entry clerk and within 2 years was promoted to Accounting Manager. I spent 6 years perfecting systems, nailing the annual audit, moving to 100% digital workflow and training up our team into accounting ninjas. My next Accounting job was with Quicksilver Scientific where I focused on both AR and AP dataentry, problem solving and training/mentoring new employees.
I’ve been supporting small business clients with their bookkeeping needs since 2020. I love teaching people how to wrangle the data aspect of what happens IRL. I enjoy bringing pieces of my extensive life experience to bear in the
boring world of accounting. I value the demystification of money and believe that wrestling this beast is a requirement for running a successful business. Part of wrestling that beast is learning and understanding the pattern
