Bookkeeping Services

My services are for you if you’re:
• Tired of scrambling every year at tax time to get a handle on your financials.
• Tired of not knowing how to make informed financial decisions about your business.
• Struggling to maintain consistent, healthy habits around the money flowing in and out of your business.
• Motivated to understand the financial aspects of your business and to feel more empowered about your financial decisions.
• Looking for a “numbers person” you can relate to.
• A solopreneur or small business making between $50,000 and $500,000 a year and looking to scale, sell, or find investors within the next year or two.

My services are NOT a great fit for:
• Businesses doing complex inventory management and/or reporting.
• Businesses selling inventory items via a website.
• Businesses with a tech stack that doesn’t integrate with Quickbooks Online.

I’ve been working in the accounting world for over 20 years, which is still even a surprise to me! I’ve built my knowledge base largely on-the-job, working for 2 multi-million-dollar companies as an employee and serving a wide variety of small business clients over those 20 years. I now have 11 clients and counting, who run the gamut from health and wellness practitioners to graphic designers to construction services. I don’t serve a particular industry, but I do prefer to serve solopreneurs and/or micro-businesses who focus on services rather than products. I joke that my niche is the niche-less.
I’m also an archaeologist, chef, nutritionist, gardener, herbalist, Libra, writer and all-around curious soul. I have a wide range of life and work experience, all of which inform my approach to being a small business owner myself and will inform my work with you. I love supporting small business owners to legally use the tax code and business structure to keep as much money circulating in their communities as possible. I’m learning as much as I can about tax and business entities so I can continue to offer more insight into this realm.
